Austin Under 40 Awards Announce
Opening of Nominations
AUSTIN, Texas - Join the Austin Under 40 Awards Committee (Au40) at Union Park on November 11th from 5:30-8:30 pm to kick off the opening of nominations for the 13th annual Austin Under 40 Awards. This event will be a great opportunity to learn about the Au40 Awards nominations process and network with young professionals from around Central Texas. Complimentary appetizers will be provided and Union Park will donate $1 from every drink purchased to YMBL and YWA.
Nominations for the Austin Under 40 Awards will run from November 11, 2010 through January 24, 2011. Following the nominations process, finalists for the 2011 Austin Under 40 Awards will be announced on February 1, 2011. The 13th Annual Austin Under 40 Awards will be held at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center on February 26, 2011.
The Austin Under 40 Awards event was founded in 1997 by the Young Men's Business League and the Young Women's Alliance to recognize young men and women in Austin who excel in their professional fields and make considerable contributions to their communities. Over the past 12 years, Au40 event sponsors and attendees have contributed more than $330,000 to the Austin YMBL Sunshine Camps and the YWA Foundation. In 2010 alone, Au40 raised over $65,000 for their charities.
