To be eligible for an Au40 Award, the individual must meet the following requirements:

To nominate someone for an Au40 Award, you must create an account through our nominations site, enter the contact information of the person you would like to nominate, and complete the Nominator Question (3-4 paragraphs). All nominations must be completed by January 16th, 2012, so make sure to give your Nominees plenty of time to finish their applications.

As a Nominee, you will receive an email notifying you of your nomination, with a link to your account. You must then fill out all of the necessary information and answer all questions completely. You may always save your work and come back later to finish.It is suggested that you review the nomination questions and type your responses in a separate document, then copy and paste them into the fields on the online nomination form. The 3 combined nomination question responses should not exceed 1200 words.
Nominator Question: Describe the Nominee’s qualities that make him/her worthy of acknowledgment.
Nominee Question #1: Describe your professional accomplishments and/or achievements and how this has effected your field of work.
Nominee Question #2: Expand upon your community involvement, including board, committee, and/or group activities.
As an Au40 Nominee, in addition to the 2 questions, you are allowed, but not required, to attach up to 3 documents per nomination form – 1 resume (max of 2 pages), 1 letter of recommendation, and 1 press release or published news story regarding the Nominee and his/her contributions to the Austin community.
If a nominee does not a have a press release or published news story, the Nominee may submit a second letter of recommendation.
The 3 additional documents should be uploaded to the Au40 website with the nomination form as Word files or Adobe PDFs. Alternatively, you may email it to nomination@austinunder40.org, with the Nominee name as the subject line.
All Nominees should ensure that your submission follows the Nomination Guidelines, as outlined above. Exceptions to these guidelines will not be considered.
